Biography

On April 10, 2021, I will be graduating from the Ethnos360 Mission Training program! I cannot believe it has been four years since God called me out of Costa Rica into Ethnos360 training with the plan to share His Word to a people group that have never heard the name Jesus. I am excited for where God is going to take me and how he will use me (along with my prayer and financial partners).

So... what now?

The field that I am heading towards right now is Brazil! I say heading towards because I want to leave room for God to close doors and open new ones. If I am headed towards Brazil and God closes that door and opens one to the Philippines, then I will move in that direction. But until He closes the door to Brazil it looks like the door is open  and inviting. I have chosen Brazil because of the Latin culture that I love so much, the food, the many tribes that have not had the chance to hear of the Savior, and the primitive location of which many other missionaries would not be able to move into. The leadership in Brazil seems to have a great track record and great program for helping along the whole tribal church planting process.

Before I am able to APPLY for a visa to enter Brazil or any other country that the Lord might lead me to, I need to be at 70% or greater of the recommended monthly support level. The visa process takes anywhere from one to six months. Once granted the visa I would have 90 days to arrive in Brazil.

Before starting the visa process with the advice of wise counsel I will be making the decision whether or not it would be worth the time to take a tech course that Ethnos 360 offers August-December. If I did not take the course, I would start the visa process for Brazil immediately after I reached my financial support goal.

The tech course is a basic course on electricity, solar panels, batteries, water pumps, small engines, basic mechanics, welding, heating, and cooling, and basic construction.

If God leads me to take this course, then upon finishing it in January I will begin the visa processes to move to Vianopolis, Brazil.
