he didn't stay dead & he won't stay gone!

Matthew 16:21; 17:22-23; 20:18-19: 26:59-64
Before His Crucifixion, Jesus repeatedly spoke of His coming death, burial, resurrection and return. The things He said would come to pass, did. Both Scripture and history attest to and agree with this.
While it is not the purpose of this brief article to prove these things, I do affirm that which has already been thoroughly investigated and proven, i.e., that Jesus died, was buried and rose again after 3 days, as He said He would.  The Christian Church has celebrated the Resurrection for over 2000 years. History attests to this with the division of our calendar as BC and AD (though some seek to subtly change this with CE and BCE in an attempt to remove any religious aspect..., but I digress.
The point is, that before His Passion, Jesus spoke of His sacrifice and promised to rise again from the grave, and then to ascend back into Heaven from which He would one day return (Acts 1:9-11).
Because of His resurrection and consummate ascension, we as Believers, hold to certain Promises concerning our own death and after life.  In John 11 at the grave of Lazarus, Jesus comforted Martha with these words ...John 11:25-26
"I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" KJV  He gives the same assurance in John 14:19.
The hope of the Believer is founded in the resurrection of Christ. He said that He would rise again...and He did! He said that He would come again...and He will!
The Duvall Family has a song they sing called "I Have No Doubt". Find it on YouTube and give it a listen and you'll be singing it all day!
