God has sworn an oath to everyone that Jesus is the victorious king, the forever priest, and the one and only way of salvation. When we are betrayed by the world and the people we love the most, we can always turn to God and trust in His never-changing faithfulness. In order for Christians to truly experience the radical transformation and freedom that comes from a relationship with Christ, they must first have a willingness to admit, “We have sinned.” Christians are able to live in a state of “thrill and joy” because they’re like trees planted in God’s house, where they can flourish and grow strong. Everyone should be thankful because the Lord is good, His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness never ends. Believers need to understand that God, even though He is big enough to create and control the universe, also has the capacity to know His children both personally and intimately. ===================== EDITORIAL CORRECTION: At 34:25... Scripture says that God is a great and fierce lion whom we should fear and honor with our lives. God allows people to experience the just consequences for the choices they make. However, believers trust that God will always remember and deliver them from those consequences. |
