It is important for believers to continue to trust in God’s faithfulness, in both the good times and when it seems like the bottom has dropped out on life.

It’s important for every generation of believers to be reminded of God’s faithfulness throughout their own lives, and then share those stories with the next generation to encourage them to look for God’s faithfulness themselves. Believers need to understand the biblical approach to confession means to acknowledge that sin is offensive to God, and therefore, those behaviors and attitudes need to stop and change. Believers can live a life full of contentment because God… who is the Good Shepherd… has already given them everything they need. Believers can live without fear, anxiety, worry, and stress by knowing and trusting that God is enough. God’s presence used to only dwell in the temple. But today, His presence dwells in His Church and it’s a place where believers can experience security, hope, encouragement, and worship. God has sworn an oath to everyone that Jesus is the victorious king, the forever priest, and the one and only way of salvation. When we are betrayed by the world and the people we love the most, we can always turn to God and trust in His never-changing faithfulness. In order for Christians to truly experience the radical transformation and freedom that comes from a relationship with Christ, they must first have a willingness to admit, “We have sinned.” Christians are able to live in a state of “thrill and joy” because they’re like trees planted in God’s house, where they can flourish and grow strong. |
