God’s presence used to only dwell in the temple. But today, His presence dwells in His Church and it’s a place where believers can experience security, hope, encouragement, and worship.

God has sworn an oath to everyone that Jesus is the victorious king, the forever priest, and the one and only way of salvation. When we are betrayed by the world and the people we love the most, we can always turn to God and trust in His never-changing faithfulness. In order for Christians to truly experience the radical transformation and freedom that comes from a relationship with Christ, they must first have a willingness to admit, “We have sinned.” Christians are able to live in a state of “thrill and joy” because they’re like trees planted in God’s house, where they can flourish and grow strong. Pastor Scott Maxon, from Colorado Freedom Church, joins us today to give us a special message from Romans 5. Jesus is the ultimate healer for the sickness of sin in our lives. Through this healing, He offers us salvation and reconciliation with God. The example of leadership Jesus displayed for His disciples was a humble and sacrificial servant leadership that came from His deep love for His disciples. We, as Jesus’ disciples, are commanded to love and serve like Him. Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection proved Him to be the victorious King with all authority, and believers should respond in obedience to the call to share the gospel and make disciples. It was necessary for Jesus to go to the cross and die in order to complete the mission of becoming the only acceptable sacrifice for the sins of the world. |
