In order for believers to become complete in Christ and receive a crown of life, they will need to ask God for wisdom during the times of trouble that they will experience. Christmas is a time to remember the greatness of Jesus and to share His greatness to those around us. When the Word became human and lived among us, he brought the gifts of adoption and forgiveness for everyone who believes! The greatest Christmas gift that we've ever been given... is revealing the gift of Jesus Christ coming to live among us and revealing the glory of God to us. Jesus is the Word, the eternal, creator God, the giver of life, and the source of light, who came to live among us. Everyone should be thankful because the Lord is good, His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness never ends. The danger of a person believing he or she can earn more favor with God is that it removes the focus from Christ's completed work on the cross and puts it on the effort of the individual person. When a believer stumbles and blows it, people of grace should help by bearing each other's burdens and get him or her back on the right path. All believers, because of the grace given to them, are to live in freedom, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and not according to the flesh. |
